Musetti tried to make a fightback but Sinner remained composed under pressure. He broke the 4-2 lead and then again 5-2 to seal the match with commanding authority as the match concluded on 6-2. This victory marks Sinner’s 16th career win over Musetti and he is on the way to defend the US Open title. Sinner will now face Felix Auger-Aliassime in semi-final on Friday.
