Delhi Capitals skipper David Warner was shocked to see that his former employer Sunrisers Hyderabad had blocked him from social media platform Instagram.
When David Warner tried to wish his Australian teammate Travis Head on his recent IPL move to SRH, he found out that he was unable to tag the Hyderabad team and the page showed that he has been blocked from the IPL franchise.
The Aussie veteran also shared screenshots of the same through his social media handle, showing the results when he searched his former team’s name.
Travis Head was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 6.8 Crores while his teammate and Australian captain Pat Cummins fetched big bucks as he was roped in by SRH for a whopping INR 20/50 Crores in the IPL Auction 2024. Pat Cummins will most likely be given the leadership role in his new side and will try to replicate his ODI World Cup heroics in the shortest format of the game as well.
Warner uploaded the story with multiple laughing emojis and even tagged Travis Head on the same.
David Warner will be playing for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024 and has been looking in fine form. Warner recently scored his 26th Test hundred against Pakistan in the 1st Test at Perth.
Warner had finished with a brilliant 164 which helped his side in their 360-run victory. Australia will be playing their 2nd Test match against Pakistan from December 26.
