U-19 T20 World Cup: USA Women’s Squad Announced, 15-Member Squad Comprises Of Indian-Americans, Including The Reserved Players

The United States of America (USA) has announced its squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025 edition which is to take place in Malaysia from January 18 to February 2. We have already witnessed the capability of Indian Diaspora in the sports fraternity during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup where the majority of the Players from the USA squad were Indians. But this time the U19 USA’s women’s squad comprises Indian-Americans in the whole 15-member squad including the reserved players.

Response of The Selection Committee

“We are excited to announce the selection of our U19 squad for the upcoming World Cup. After careful consideration and extensive evaluation of players’ performances, fitness and skills in the recent camp, prior tours and National tournaments, we believe we have a talented group that combines youth and experience. Our aim is to foster their development and compete strongly on the world stage. We are confident in their abilities and look forward to seeing them showcase their skills,” said Women’s Selection Panel Chair, Amer Afzaluddin.
