U-19 Asia Cup 2024: Crushing Defeat For India As Bangladesh Lifts Asia Cup Trophy

U-19 Asia Cup 2024: The under 19 Asia Cup was organized in UAE. Apart from India, other Asian countries also participated. India and Bangladesh made it to the finals. The match between India and Bangladesh was played on 8 December. In this match, Bangladesh performed brilliantly and won the title by defeating India by 59 runs.

Bangladesh had scored 198 runs

Bangladesh scored 198/10 runs. Indian bowlers bowled brilliantly and stopped Bangladesh batsmen from scoring big. MD Rizan Hussain scored the most runs from Bangladesh. He scored 47 runs in 65 balls. Apart from him, Mohammad Shihab James scored 40 runs in 67 balls. Apart from these two, no other batsman could play a big innings.

Indian bowlers did wonders in the final match. Almost all the bowlers bowled economically and prevented Bangladesh from scoring a big total. Yudhjit Guha took 2 wickets for 29 runs in 9.1 overs. Apart from this, Chetan Sharma also took 2 wickets. Hardik Raj also got 2 wickets.
