Imran Khan holds the record as the oldest captain to win an ICC trophy, leading Pakistan to 1992 World Cup glory at 39 years and 172 days. Rohit Sharma follows closely, winning the Champions Trophy 2025 at 37 years and 313 days and the T20 World Cup 2024 at 37 years and 60 days. Brian Lara guided West Indies to a Champions Trophy 2004 win at 35 years and 146 days, while Temba Bavuma became the fifth oldest, captaining South Africa to their maiden ICC title in the 2025 World Test Championship final at 35 years and 27 days.
