Concerning Form

Sharma did not have a very graceful campaign for the past 1 year. During the IPL 2025, Rohit was inducted as the ‘Impact Player’, thus not making the spot in the playing XI despite being the captain of the Mumbai Indians’ franchise, leading them to multiple IPL titles. In IPL 2025, Sharma had a bittersweet campaign by scoring 329 runs, including 3 half-centuries. What concerned the authorities was Rohit’s performance in the longest format of the game. In the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, he managed just score just 31 runs.

Gill Leading From Front

Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Rishabh Pant managed to get their respective Test centuries in Leeds during the first Innings against England.
