In response to Rauf’s performance, young opener Saim Ayub played a pivotal role with 82 off 71 deliveries (strike rate of 115.49), while Abdullah Shafique contributed an unbeaten 64. Skipper Babar Azam sealed the win in style with a six, leading Pakistan to a 9-wicket victory and leveling the series at 1-1.
