Rohit Sharma remains on the top but Babar is merely 40 runs shy of surpassing Rohit Sharma’s record of 4231 runs in T20 Internationals, Babar Azam is closing in on the top spot. While the Indians will be occupied with the Border-Gavaskar Trophy till 7 January 2025, Zimbabwe will host the Pakistani cricket team for a 3-match ODI and 3-match T20 series. The first T20 will be played on 1 December and Babar Azam is most likely to get that top spot for himself.
