Veteran Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is on the verge of reaching a significant milestone of playing his 100th Test match. With 99 Test appearances already under his belt, Ashwin will achieve this feat as India faces England in the fifth match of the series in Dharamsala, starting on Thursday. The cricketing community is buzzing with excitement over Ashwin’s impending milestone, but former Indian spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has expressed disappointment over Ashwin’s alleged behavior towards him.
“Tried calling him a few times to wish him for his 100th Test. Just cut off my call. Sent him a message, no reply. That’s the respect we former cricketers get,” the former India spinner wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
