The Betway SA20 2025 or SA20 Season 3 will be the third season of the SA 20, a franchise cricket league in South Africa played for twenty overs. The league will be organised by the Cricket South Africa (CSA), with six teams taking part. The tournament will start from 9 January with the final being played on 8 February 2025. are the defending champions. Dinesh Kartik will be the first Indian to participate in the SA20. He is eager to provide his expertise and assistance for the Paarl Royals.

Paarl Royals
Manoj Badale being the lead owner of Rajasthan Royals and the Barbados Royals, also owns the South African franchise. The team is coached by Trevor Penney and David Miller will be the one to lead Dinesh Kartik. The home ground of the team will be Boland Park. Jacod Bethel and Joe Root are some other distinguished names alongside Dinesh Kartik and David Miller in the franchise.
“So I’ve watched both the editions very closely because a lot of the players that I’ve played with in IPL teams have played in that tournament. That’s one. And South Africa has been a very fond place for me because of the memories I’ve had“, he said in a press release.
“When SA20 came up and you watch other tournaments, the one thing that’s very evident is teams which have a strong domestic cricket culture come through with these franchise tournaments very well. And the fact that South Africa has had a very good domestic structure over a period of time, I think you could almost say they were frontrunners to be a very good tournament” he added.

Dinesh Kartik and IPL
Dinesh Karthik has played 257 matches to date in his IPL career and has scored 4,842 runs, with an average of 26.32. He has also slammed 22 half-centuries, with his highest IPL score being 97* runs. Dinesh Karthik has hit 466 fours and 161 sixes in his IPL career. In the IPL Auction 2024, the Bangalore franchise acquired the services of Dinesh Karthik for Rs 5.50 Cr.
