RCB overcame Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Qualifier 1 and are now through to the final of IPL 2025. RCB played well all around, with Hazlewood, Sharma and Dayal stopping the rest of the PBKS batters. In the second innings, Phil Salt made 56 runs with only 27 deliveries, helping RCB to an emphatic eight-wicket win with 60 balls still to play. Suyash Sharma has been awarded the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his exceptional bowling by taking 3 crucial wickets of Marcus Stoinis, Shashank Singh and Musheer Khan and conceding just 17 runs in his 3 overs spell.

“My coaches gave me just one role, which is to hit the stumps whether I bowl legbreak, googly, flipper or any other variation. It (googly) is my stock ball and also I got a bit of help from the wicket as well. Not quite now (whether he will be celebrating tonight), I will celebrate on 3rd (June) and very hard as well.” Suyash Sharma added said.
