The Australia national cricket team will be looking to make a comeback in the second Test of the five-match series against India. The Aussies currently trail by 1-0 and needs to make a strong comeback after losing the first Test by a huge margin of 295 runs. Australia have been among the most deadly sides at home but were exposed by the Indian pace attack in Perth. The Australian batter didn’t have any clue against the Indian bowling attack consisting of Jasprit Bumrah, Harshit Rana and Mohammed Siraj. On the other hand, the Indian batters performed brilliantly wherein Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli slammed brilliant hundreds.

The Aussies were hit by a major jolt as they lost pacer Josh Hazlewood due to a side strain injury. There were also speculations that all-rounder Mitchell Marsh would also miss out from the match as he had been carrying some niggles. Beau Webster was added to Australian squad as his backup option. However, Marsh has addressed all the rumours and stated that he is ‘good to go’ for the IND vs AUS 2nd Test. He said, “The body’s all good, yep. Nah, nah, I’m good to go. I’ll be there.”
The India national cricket team is once again pretty much favourites to win the second Test in Adelaide. However, they must come out of their previous outing at the ground when they were blown away for a mere score of 36 runs against the Aussies. Team India has been among the best teams in Test format in the past few years. The Rohit Sharma led side has qualified for the past two finals of the World Test Championship and must win the match to make an entry in the third straight final of WTC.
