Babar Azam has emerged as the top batters in Pakistan cricket in the past few years and once was compared to great player such as Virat Kohli, Joe Root and Steve Smith. However, in the past few years, Babar has only been able to score runs against low ranked teams including Nepal, Zimbabwe, Ireland and others. However, the latter didn’t score when he faced quality attacks such as India, England and Australia. During the period of past two years, he also led Pakistan to failures in ICC tournaments which resulted in him resigning from the captaincy. Babar was also dropped from the side but was added back to the squad in the other series.
