New Delhi: The ODI series between India and new Zealand is set to begin from November 25. India now has its eye on winning this series after defeating the Kiwis in the T20 series by 1-0. The Indian team will be led by captain Shikhar Dhawan. Team blue will be hitting the ground with a solid playing XI.
Umran Malik and Sanju Samson might play
Many players have been dropped from the team as compared to the team that played in the T20 series against New Zealand. Shikahar Dhawan might give chance to Umran Malik and Sanju Samson in the first ODI. None of these players got a chance to play in the T20 series.

Captain Dhawan and Shubman Gill are set to open in the first ODI. Whereas, Shreyas Iyer can come at 2-down, while Suryakumar Yadav will come at 3-down. Team India’s wicket-keeper and batsman Rishabh Pant has been made the vice-captain of the ODI team. He will then be coming to bat at 4-down.

For Team India, either of Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson can get a chance at number-6. Either Shahbaz Ahmed or Washington Sundar will play as an all-rounder. Fast bowlers Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur or Umran Malik can get a chance.
