New Delhi: The second Test match of Border-Gavaskar Trophy will played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi from February 17 to 21. Team India had to change their hotel in the last minute due to G20 Summit and marriage season. With this majority of the five-star hotels in the capital has been booked.
India Team staying at Hotel Leela
The Indian cricket team usually stays at Taj Palace or ITC Maurya in Delhi, but this time, they are staying in Hotel Leela near Noida. A BCCI official confirmed the same and stated that the facilities provided at Hotel Leela are nice. It’s an unavoidable situation hence the shift.
Virat spending quality time with family
However, India star batter Virat Kohli is not staying with the team. Kohli whose birthplace is Delhi and his family stays in Gurugram, decided to stay with them and spend some quality time. He took the permission from the management. The former Indian captain also seen enjoying driving on Delhi roads.

Virat joins training with Rahul Dravid
Virat Kohli joined special training session with head coach Rahul Dravid ahead of the second Test match. The 34-years-old batter was not in good touch in Nagpur Test and want to improve his batting and fielding skills.

First Test for Delhi since 2017
The Delhi Test is set to be Kohli’s first international match in the National Capital in 4 years. His last match here was a One Day International in March 2019. His last Test match came even before that in December 2017.
Team India has already taken the lead in the Border-Gavaskar series by 1-0 and will aim to continue the winning momentum. Delhi is hosting the first Test match after 2017.
