India and Australia are playing against each other in the five-match Test series, which is currently levelled at 1-1 with two matches to play. The fourth Test is all set to begin from December 26 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne. Both teams will look to win the match and take an important lead in the series. The IND vs AUS 3rd Test saw a major development in the Indian squad after veteran all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket. The latter was among the most brilliant all-rounders for the Indian team and slammed six Test hundreds along with more than 500 wickets in the red-ball format.

Tanush Kotian Added To Team India Squad For Australia Tour
While, Ravichandran Ashwin retired from international cricket, a report from Sportstar states that all-rounder Tanush Kotian has been added to the Indian squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The report states that the latter will leave for Australia on Tuesday. The all-rounder is currently playing Vijay Hazare Trophy in Ahmedabad. Kotian has performed extremely well in domestic cricket which also earned him a spot in India A which toured Australia for preparation of Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.

Both the teams are currently immense pressure in the IND vs AUS 2024-25 Test series. The Indian team will look forward on repeating their performance during the fourth Test which they showcased in the first match of the series. The third Test was won by rain, however, the duo of Akash Deep and Jasprit Bumrah put up a brilliant partnership after which they will look to take up the confidence with the ball as well.
