Bangladesh bowler Shoriful Islam Receives 6 Stitches

During Bangladesh’s bowling, fast bowler Shoriful Islam was injured in the final over of India’s innings. Shoriful was bowling to Hardik Pandya when a powerful shot from Hardik struck Shoriful’s left hand, causing a deep injury that forced him to leave the field. Reports from Cricbuzz indicate that Shoriful needed 6 stitches, making his participation in the opening match highly uncertain and increasing the team’s worries.
