New Delhi: Pakistan is currently struggling in T20 World Cup 2022 after losing two initial games. Young pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi was one of the most talked bowlers before the start of the tournament.

He had missed Asia Cup 2022 due to injury an it was believed that his presence in team would help Pakistan manifold to face challenges in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. However, Afridi couldn’t do much against India.

In the game against South Africa, Shaheen was seen in his brilliant form and he took 3 crucial wickets. In the 4 overs that he played, he only conceded 14 runs and led team towards a win. He dismissed opener Quinton de Kock for zero in the first over. He made centurion Riley Russo his second victim and he achieved the third breakthrough in Heinrich Klaasen.

Shaheen Shah Afridi leaves Jasprit Burmah behind in THIS record

With the wickets of Klaasen, Afridi completed his 50 international wickets. He was 22 years and 211 days old when he achieved this milestone and he has left behind Jasprit Bumrah to become the youngest cricketer to take 50 wickets.
