The Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be naming the squads for Duleep Trophy, in which Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are likely to feature. Ishan Kishan also has a high probability of getting picked, but veteran stars like Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara are unlikely to make the cut.
The Indian team will be focusing on the next Test series against Bangladesh which will be starting from 19 September. The inclusion of Jasprit Bumrah is still doubtful in the squad as Team India will be playing 10 Test matches in the next 4 months, out of which 5 of them are against Australia.

The BCCI might keep one round at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
