The 41st match of the Indian Premier League saw the players wearing a black band on their arms with no cheerleaders and fireworks for today’s match between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Mumbai Indians at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. This was due to the tragic terror attack in Kashmir’s one of the most visited tourist destinations, Pahalgam. MI won the toss and invited the hosts to come out and open with the bat. Australia and Sunrisers Hyderabad’s captain Pat Cummins also showed his gratitude for the victim of the Pahalgam Terror attack.

Five-time champions Mumbai Indians visit Hyderabad to take on a Sunrisers Hyderabad team that is ninth in the Indian Premier League standings with just four points from seven games. The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad will be the host for the SRH vs MI clash. But then, they found second wind and claimed victories in their last three IPL 2025 matches. This included a win over Sunrisers themselves by four wickets at the Wankhede Stadium.
