Mumbai batters made a mark
The batting pair of Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton’s duo started Mumbai Indians on their run chase of 163 as their side began their pursuit. During his rapid batting approach Rohit scored 26 runs from 16 delivered balls. Rickelton hit 31 runs in 23 balls. During the third batting position Will Jacks displayed good timing in his strike to secure 36 runs off 26 balls. Suryakumar Yadav managed 26 runs from his 15 available balls during the match. A fifty-run stand formed between Surya and Jacks at the third wicket position. Captain Hardik Pandya launched his bat with power through his 9-ball appearance to hit 21 runs. The batting performance of Tilak Verma showcased complete dominance through his 21 runs which he scored from 17 balls.
Hyderabad batters disappointed
The team of Sunrisers Hyderabad made a positive start by sending the opposition into bat first following the losing toss. The opening partnership of Head and Sharma managed to score 59 runs against Bangalore. Abhishek scored 40 runs in 28 balls. Throughout his batting stint Head put in a real struggle to score and ended his innings with a total of 28 runs in 29 deliveries. The bat of Ishan Kishan failed to deliver during his batting appearance resulting in only two runs before his out. The batting run from Nitish Reddy ended at 19 following his dismissal from the match. The team originated a decent total of 162 through Heath and Verma’s offensive batting performance during the final overs. Klaasen hit 37 runs from 28 balls and Aniket reached his score of 18 runs from 8 balls without getting out.
