While the fans of both teams never lose a chance to take dig at each other, CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad is under the headlines due to his indirect jibe at RCB. During a public event, while addressing the gathering, Gaikwad’s microphone experienced a malfunction. After the microphone was back to work, the Indian opener took a subtle dig at RCB and stated that an RCB fan might have done it. The video of the incident went viral on the social media.
During the incident, the anchor of the show stated that how can someone do this with Ruturaj Gaikwad. The anchor said, “How can you turn off Ruturaj’s mic?” to which Gaikwad replied, “Might be someone from RCB.”

Ruturaj Gaikwad has emerged among the top batters of the Chennai Super Kings whenever he plays in the Indian Premier League. The latter was decent in captaincy as well during IPL 2024, however, CSK ended up losing to RCB which pushed them out of the tournament.
