India has named its women’s team for the white-ball tour of England starting June 28. Harmanpreet Kaur will lead both T20I and ODI sides throughout the series.
The tour features a total of eight games – five T20 Internationals and then three One Day Internationals. The T20I portion of the tour begins in Nottingham on June 28 with the first game and concludes with the last game on July 12 in Birmingham.
After the T20Is, the ODI series will commence on July 16 in Southampton. The second match will be played soon after, and the tour will conclude with the third and last ODI in Chester-le-Street on July 22.
Renuka and Shreyanka Missing
Interestingly, pace bowler Renuka Singh and spinner Shreyanka Patil have not been named in the squads for this series.
