Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube played an unbeaten innings of 71 runs from 37 balls during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 match against Services. Dube was followed by a 70-run knock from 46 balls. The left-handed all-rounder has turned out to be a brilliant match-winner for the India national cricket team in the past few years. Dube smashed two fours and seven sixes during his stay at the crease and batter with a strike rate of 191.89. Both the players helped Mumbai put up a first-innings score of 192/4 while batting first.

Mumbai lost an early wicket in the form of Prithvi Shaw who walked back for a duck. Shreyas Iyer and Ajinkya Rahane weren’t able to do much and walked back for 20 and 22 runs respectively. From here, Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube began the attack wherein both the batters smashed the Services bowlers to all the parts of the ground. Dube remained unbeaten whereas Surya walked back to the dressing room.

Chasing down the target, Services were in trouble when they lost the first three wickets for a score of 15 runs. Skipper Mohit Ahlawat smashed a half-century but in the end, didn’t receive any support from the other batters. The team kept on losing wickets on regular intervals of the innings and ended up on the losing end.
