The two Indian express pacers, Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik are out of the first round of the upcoming Duleep Trophy due to illness. The Board of Control Cricket in India stated in a release.

It is also said that, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is also been released from the Team B squad. The reason is not yet revealed by the BCCI.
Navdeep Saini and Gaurav Yadav are the replacements for Siraj and Umran.
The tournament gets underway on September 5. Team A will take on Team B at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru while Team C will face Team D at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantapur. Shubman Gill (Team A), Abhimanyu Easwaran (Team B), Ruturaj Gaikwad (Team C) and Shreyas Iyer (Team D) are the four captains.
