New Delhi: The former AC Milan President (1986 and 2017) Silvio Berlusconi, who died last month, left  €100 million over (₹906.29 crore) to his partner Marta Fascina. Berlusconi stated this in his will, which was made public on July 7.

Berlusconi divides his wealth

Berlusconi, who served as the Prime Minister of Italy for four governments from 1994 to 1995, 2001 to 2006 and 2008 to 2011 and his empire is estimated to be worth more than €6bn, also left €100m to his brother, Paolo, and €30m to Marcello Dell’Utri, a former senator with his Forza Italia party who served jail time for association with the mafia.

Children to handle businesses

Berlusconi, who also was media mogul, named his two eldest children Marina and Pier Silvio will control his business empire. The siblings, who already hold executive roles in the business, will have a 53 per cent stake in the Fininvest family holding.

Berlusconi also left 60 per cent of his nonbusiness wealth to Marina and Pier Silvio. Meanwhile, his three youngest children from a second marriage, Barbara, Eleonora and Luigi, split the remaining 40 per cent.

The former leader and the media mogul died on June 12 at the age of 86 after being hospitalised with chronic leukemia. His will was read out in presence of five children and other witnesses.

Berlusconi reigned supreme at Milan from 1986 until 2017, during which time the club won 29 trophies, including five Champions League and eight Italian league titles.A
