After receiving a major heartbreak in the name of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s retirement from Test cricket, the new-look Team India is set make mark in the upcoming tour of England. The 5-match Test series will mark a new dawn of Indian team. Though, the squad has been not announced yet, there are speculations that the new-look Indian team will be led by Shubman Gill in the upcoming tour.
Apart from Gill, there would be new faces in Team India to fill big shoes of legendary players like Kohli and Sharma.
Shreyas Iyer Might Make A Comeback
After having a solitary comeback into the Indian team, Shreyas Iyer etched his name into the side as a permanent player, thanks to his rich vein of form. If Iyer gets a nod into the test side, then the No.4 position is set for Team India.
Because of his comeback, it is sad to say that Karun Nair, who had a great run in domestic cricket might loose his place in the squad.

Date Of England Tour
Team India will play 5-Tests in England starting on June 20. Ahead of the main Tour, an India A side will tour England for a two matches. The India A’s Tour was supposed to begin on May 30, after the completion of the IPL 2025.
