The International Animal Welfare and Protection Coalition has issued a global warning that the country's plan might leads to killing of around 30 lakhs stray dogs.

According to media reports, Morocco has decided to kill around 3 million stray dogs. Activists and Animal Welfare Organizations has criticized this plan by the Morocco to execute 30 lakh stray dogs.

The country are planning to use such illegal methods to tackle with issue of rising population of stray dogs, as reported by Daily Mail. Under this comes the process of giving poison strychnine to dogs, shooting them and beat them with shovels.

The International Animal Welfare and Protection Coalition has issued a global warning that the country’s plan might leads to killing of around 30 lakhs stray dogs. Jane Goodall, a Primatologist and animal rights activist has stepped into the matter and wrote a letter to FIFA requesting them to take action to stop this plan before it gets executed, as per media reports.

In that letter Goodall condemned the plan and mentioned that is this plan gets executed then the FIFA in Morocco should get suspended. FIFA has not issued any statement over this issue, as per media reports.
