Becoming parents is a profound joy for any couple, and recently, both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma welcomed their second child, a son named Akaay, on February 15th. Similarly, Kane Williamson, the former captain of New Zealand’s cricket team, and his wife Sara Rahim were blessed with a baby girl named Lakshmi not long after. Joining them in this journey of parenthood, former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, affectionately known as the ‘Rawal Pindi Express’ in cricketing circles, celebrated the arrival of his third child at the age of 48.

The Couple Already Had 2 Sons 

Shoaib Akhtar and Rubab are already parents to two sons named Mohammad Mikail Ali and Mohammad Mujaddid Ali. Their eldest son, Mikael, was born in 2016, followed by their younger son, Mujaddid, in 2019. Shoaib Akhtar tied the knot with Rubab Khan in a modest ceremony held in Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in 2014.

Rubab Khan And Shoaib’s Marriage

The renowned pace bowler, famous for his world records, married Rubab when he was 38 years old. At the time of their marriage, Rubab Khan was 20 years younger than her husband, Shoaib Akhtar. The choice of Rubab as Shoaib Akhtar’s partner was made by his parents.

The couple experienced the joy of parenthood for the first time in November 2016 when Rubab gave birth to their son, Mikael. Three years later, in July 2019, they welcomed their second child, son Mujaddid. Rubab Khan hails from a distinguished family in Abbottabad. At the time of her marriage, she was merely 20 years old.
