Australia pulled off a commanding batting performance in the IND vs AUS 3rd Test being played at ‘The Gabba’. The hosts ended their first innings at a score of 445 runs courtesy of hundreds from Travis Head and Steve Smith. The Aussies began Day 3 from their overnight score of 405/7 and added 40 more runs. Alex Carey played an innings of 70 runs from 88 balls which included seven fours and two sixes. No Indian bowler other than Jasprit Bumrah showed any grace and didn’t know to bowl at what line and length.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma known for his viral stump mic comments on the cricket field. His another dialogue went viral on the social media when Akash Deep bowled a ‘Steve Harmison’ kind of delivery on Day 3 of IND vs AUS 3rd Test. While bowling to Akash Deep, the ball slipped of Indian bowler’s hand and went way outside the off stump. It could have gone for four extra ‘byes’ but Rishabh Pant pulled off a brilliant save. Indian captain Rohit Sharma was miffed by Akash Deep and said, “Abbe sar mein kuch hai? (Is there anything in your head?).”
Rain once again came out to the rescue of the Indian national cricket team as they ended the Day 3 of IND vs AUS 3rd Test at 51/4 after a gap of 17 overs. Indian top order failed to deliver once again as batters such as Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal failed to leave their impact. The Indian team will now need to bat as long as possible if they wish to make a comeback in the match. Team India has pulled off miracles in the past and have the capability to do it once again.
