India’s former Tennis player Sania Mirza has opened up about her most difficult phase of life which was after her divorce with Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik. She revealed how Bollywood director and choreographer Farah Khan supported her during a panic attack.
Sania Mirza shared the story on her new YouTube talk show named – “Serving it with Sania” where Farah Khan was invited as the first guest. In a very heartfelt conversation Sania revealed that Farah’s presence in her life helped her stay sane and composed during her toughest days of life. In return, Farah also praised Sania for handling parenthood single-handedly with all the dignity.

“I don’t want to mention it on camera, but there was a moment that was one of the lowest moments when you (Farah Khan) showed up on my set and I had to go on a live show after that,” Sania said. “If you had not come there I was shivering. And if you would not have come there I wouldn’t have done that show. You told me, ‘No matter what, you are doing this show.”
Farah also mentioned about how she saw Sania being absolutely stressed – “I got so scared. I had to shoot that day, but I just left everything and came there in my pyjamas and chappals,” she said, adding that she simply wanted to be by her friend’s side at that moment.
Sania Mirza tied the knot with Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik in April 2010 and the couple welcomed their son in 2018 – Izhaan Mirza Malik. But in January 2024, the duo confirmed about their divorce following which Shoaib immediately got married to a Pakistani actress named Sana Javed.
