New Delhi: Indian cricket fans witnessed solid performances from their star players in test series against the West Indies. Among the noteworthy highlights, former skipper Virat Kohli demonstrated his batting class with his 29th Test century against the West Indies.

The 34-year-old Kohli equaled Sir Don Bradman’s record of 29 Test centuries with this century. The hundred also ended his five-year-long drought for an international Test century outside India. He scored his last ton in 2018.

For Kohli, it was only his second hundred in the Caribbean islands since the North Sound converted the first century to a double hundred in 2016. With this performance, Kohli holds the record for smashing century in his 500th international appearance.

Tendulkar leads the international with 34,357 runs, followed by Kumar Sangakkara (28,016), Ricky Ponting (27,483) and Mahela Jayawardene (25,957).

However, Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja added 106 score in a row to make India 288-4. The visiting team won the Dominica by an innings and 141 points, already leading 1-0 in two test series.
