Jofra Archer achieved three crucial wickets in the match for Rajasthan Royals which secured them a 50-run win against Punjab Kings to break their undefeated streak in IPL 2025. Archer finished off the match for Rajasthan Royals by taking out Priyansh Arya and Shreyas Iyer in the same over before dismissing Arshdeep Singh in the final over.
Nehal Wadhera’s Efforts Go in Vain
Nehal Wadhera managed to slow down Punjab’s pursuit with his resilient half-century before getting removed along with Glenn Maxwell. Punjab’s batting collapse started when Nehal Wadhera and Glenn Maxwell lost their wickets which resulted in immediate control loss by the team.
Jaiswal Leads Royals to Record Total
During Rajasthan’s inning Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his slowest IPL fifty by playing 45 deliveries for 67 runs. His batting performance resulted in 205/4 which remains the highest Mullanpur Stadium score ever and exceeds the 192 total Mumbai Indians had previously set.
