El-Nassr marched to an easy win over Al-Ettifaq by a spot kick by none other than the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. The second goal came from Al-Nassr’s left-back Salem Al-Najdi and Anderson’s brace in the 70th minute sealed the deal.
After scoring the goal, Ronaldo held up 3 fingers pointing to his in the stands, indicating that they got a hat-trick together as Cristiano Ronaldo Jr scored twice for Al-Nassr’s youth team earlier that day.
Al Nassr dominated the game throughout the first half. However, Al-Ettifaq held on tight until Ronaldo’s penalty. Gerrard’s men failed to convert chances but managed to restrict the opposition from creating much danger in their final third.

Al-Nassr in the second half was a nuisance to the opposition with Talisca and Sadio Mane combining got the better of Ali Khayarallah and Al Otebi. Al-Najdi scored from an assist by Mane. Talisca wrapped up the match with a bang squared to him in the 70th minute.
