Ronaldo Jr leaves Man Utd, joins Real Madrid youth academy

New Delhi: Following Cristiano Ronaldo’s footsteps, his son, Cristiano Jr has left the Man United academy. Cristiano Jr has rejoined the Real Madrid youth academy, according to reports from Real Madrid News. Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Man United ended on a disappointing note when the club terminated his contract last month.

Ronaldo Jr to follow father’s trail

The 12-year-old has played in the youth ranks of every club following his father’s trail. He has been a part of Real Madrid, Juventus, and then Manchester United. This was Portuguese star’s return to Old Trafford last season.

Following his father’s footsteps Ronaldo Jr, also left Man United and once again shook hands with the Spanish club. Cristiano Jr. is indeed one of the most searched youngsters in the Under-14 category. Journalist Edu Cornago tweeted about Ronaldo Jr’s return to Real’s academy on Tuesday, the youngster returning to a place where he scored more than 50 goals in 20 games the first time around.

Cristiano Jr is a very highly rated youth player. He is eying to follow the footsteps of his legendary father and become a professional footballer. He has scored more than 50 goals in 20 matches at the U-14 level. Thus, bringing back Cristiano Jr to the club is a major boost for Los Blancos without a shadow of a doubt.

 

Many fans have a hint that Ronaldo could be set to return to Real Madrid as well. But the chances of that happening seem to be pretty slim at the moment. The Portuguese superstar’s most likely destination is Al-Nassr, where he is expected to sign a record-breaking contract.

Ronaldo Jr scored 7 goals in one half

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. was born in San Diego, Cristiano joined Juventus’ Badut under-9s in 2018, and has scored 58 times in just 28 games. Adding to that impressive total, he’s also provided 18 assists for his teammates. Ronaldo Jr scored four goals in his debut for Juventus in September 2018. Meanwhile, in April, he scored seven goals in a single half against CS Maritimo.
