There have been speculations about the Indian Test and ODI skipper Rohit Sharma missing out on the England tour, which is scheduled to take place from 20 June to 4 August for a five-match Test series. His Childhood coach, Dinesh Lad, while speaking to RevSportz, said that Rohit should go to England and lead the team there. Rohit scored a century during the last England tour.

India vs England 2024
The English team was hosted by India in 2024 for a 5-match Test series in which India completely dominated the English team. India won the 5 match series by a marginal 4-1 victory. England won just the opening match of the series and that too by a small margin of 28 runs. Young Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 712 runs during that series and made the crowd feel his presence and asserted that he is going to be here for a long time. Rohit Sharma scored 400 runs in the 5 match series including one century.
