A BCCI source told the publication that after the Champions Trophy win, many believed Rohit would retire from ODIs—but that didn’t happen. Moreover, there has been no concrete discussion regarding Rohit’s future in ODI cricket. With the 2027 World Cup on the horizon, his spot and captaincy appear to be under scrutiny.
