India Women Squad: Wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh will be unavailable for India’s ODI series against New Zealand as she needs to sit for her Class 12 board exams. Ghosh, who is now 21 years old, has been part of International Indians since 2020 and made her international debut at the mere age of 16.
For the three ODIs scheduled at Ahmedabad on October 24, 27, and 29, the 16-player squad will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur. Her captaincy attracted criticism after India’s exit, which failed to go beyond the group stage of the current T20 World Cup, in which India lost their first match as well against New Zealand.

As per BCCI, leg-spinner Asha Sobhana isn’t available due to an injury and will be replaced while the whole treatment affair would also provide an off from the game for all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar.
