After the BCCI ( Board of Cricket Control in India) Secretary Jai Shah objected to Pakistan’s Champions Trophy tour to the four cities of Pakistan occupied Kashmir(PoK) i.e Skardu, Murree, Hunza and Muzaffarabad, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly agreed to not take the tour to these cities
Surprisingly, the PCB has agreed to the directions and have restricted it’s trophy tour to the three host cities of Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. The PCB’s response to the ICC’s decision has raised many uncertainties for the Pakistan supporters as the PCB on Thursday posted on X saying
“Get ready, Pakistan! The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 trophy tour kicks off in Islamabad on 16 November, also visiting scenic travel destinations like Skardu, Murree, Hunza and Muzaffarabad. Catch a glimpse of the trophy which Sarfaraz Ahmed lifted in 2017 at The Oval, from 16-24 November.”
