Real Madrid’s “Comunicado Oficial: Kylian Mbappe” is expected to be released on Monday but the player will not be presented right away,” the Marca reports read.
Kylian Mbappe To Be Presented On Monday
The report also mentioned that Mbappe will have a record-breaking presentation at a sold-out Santiago Bernabeu in July.
The delay in the presentation is due to Mbappe’s current commitment to his national team’s training camp in preparation for the upcoming Euros. France is set to play friendlies against Luxembourg and Canada before heading to Germany for the month-long competition starting on June 15.
As the 2018 World Cup champions, France is among the favorites for the tournament and faces an exciting challenge in the group stages, having been drawn into Group D with Poland, the Netherlands, and Austria.
Madrid has been trying to bring Mbappe to the Bernabeu Stadium since 2017. The Spanish giants nearly succeeded last season, but the forward signed a contract extension with PSG, prompting Madrid to approach the situation differently this time. Mbappe’s current deal at the Parc des Princes ends in June, allowing him to join Madrid as a free agent.
