For the match between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Stadium, Lucknow, the Royal Challengers will miss out on two of their best batters for the side. Devdutt Padikkal and Rajat Patidar will miss today’s match against the Sunrisers. Padikkal has been ruled out of the remaining matches of this season due to a hamstring injury, and this led to Mayank Aggarwal’s entry into the squad for the remainder. Skipper Rajat Patidar will be playing today as an impact player. Jitesh Sharma was seen on the ground today, along with SRH captain Pat Cummins during the toss

Jitesh’s appointment as Patidar’s replacement
Two weeks ago, in the final match against CSK, Patidar sustained a finger injury. If the league hadn’t been suspended, Patidar’s finger infection wouldn’t have healed, and he wouldn’t be playing. To keep him from hurting the same muscle again, Patidar will play this match only as a batter and is named as an Impact Player.
RCB’s number one forecast
In their 12 matches, the group has obtained 17 points and won eight times. But to make it to the top-2, RCB need to win both their remaining matches; otherwise, if they get a win and the other results fall their way, they could qualify for the top two.
