The home losses stopped for Royal Challengers Bangalore during IPL 2025. Rajat Patidar’s team managed to gain victory over Rajasthan Royals by 11 runs after defeating them in a dramatic match that followed their 3-game home losing streak. During his first batting inning Bangalore amassed 205 runs when Padikkal and Kohli struck half-centuries. Rajasthan Royals received hope for winning after Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel played remarkable innings. A remarkable win created a memorable victory for Bangalore when Hazlewood and Pandya demonstrated excellent bowling performance.

Kohli and Salt combined to strike 61 runs in 6.4 overs at the start of the match. During their second batting partnership of the match Kohli teamed up with Devdutt Padikkal once more to face Rajasthan. The pair of both players put up 95 valuable runs together during their 51-ball second-wicket partnership. The fifth-half century for the season arrived for Virat Kohli while Padikkal achieved his second back-to-back fifty during this innings. The combination of Tim David with Jitesh Sharma produced 42 valuable runs through 19 balls to put RCB at 205 in their total.
Rajasthan received a powerful start from Yashasvi Jaiswal who hit his first entrance ball for a six. Rajasthan reached their fifty run mark through the combo of Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi during the fifth over. Afterwards Nitish Rana began to attack the bowling with similar intent. Andy Green provided Bangalore with relief during the same over when he dismissed Jaiswal after Rajasthan powered through with 72 runs before the powerplay began. Riyan Parag together with Nitish pushed the score to 110 runs as the team completed their innings in the ninth over through aggressive batting.

Dhruv Jurel was seemed to have gained momentum when ultimately he was dismissed on 47 runs and missed a potential half century. Rajasthan’s hope for victory shattered when Shubham Dube was sent back to the pavilion.
