The Gujarat team captain made the first play decision to select bowling as their strategy after winning the toss. Phil Salt and Virat Kohli formed the batting order for RCB at the beginning of the match. The fifth over witnessed Salt delivering a huge six stroke to Mohammed Siraj. The former key RCB player Mohammed Siraj has switched to Gujarat in IPL 2025 while retaining his position as a vital team member. The sensational bowling display by Mohammed Siraj managed to silence all RCB batters throughout his match. During his four-over appearance, Siraj produced a spell that gave up 19 runs while removing three vital RCB batters.
