Siraj’s Dominance over RCB
The former key RCB player Mohammed Siraj has switched to Gujarat in IPL 2025 while retaining his position as a vital team member. The sensational bowling display by Mohammed Siraj managed to silence all RCB batters throughout his match. During his four-over appearance, Siraj produced a spell that gave up 19 runs while removing three vital RCB batters. Gujarat’s match-winner with the ball emerged as Siraj sent Phil Salt to the pavilion before Devdutt Padikkal and Liam Livingstone followed him to the benches.
Consistency Of Sai Sudarshan
Sai Sudarshan has been the key to Gujarat’s reasonable start throughout the IPL seasons. He seemed promising when he came out to open with captain Shubman Gill. Although Gill was sent back to the pavilion early. Sudarshan and Buttler’s intent was clear and that was to finish the contest in their favour. Sai Sudharshan fell short of just 1 run from a potential half century when he was ultimately dismissed by Josh Hazlewood at 49 runs. Sherfane Rutherford (30) gave a good hand with the bat with his valuable cameo.
RCB’s Poor Start
Gujarat gave RCB a challenging start to their batting during the match. In the opening overs of the match Virat Kohli only scored 7 runs from his first 6 balls before getting out. Phil Salt entered the match with enthusiasm in his brief run at batting until he faced dismissal after reaching 14 runs on 13 deliveries. Devdutt Padikkal failed to excel at his batting position when he accumulated just 4 runs before getting out at spot number three. The hosts faced a challenging comeback because RCB lost four wickets for a total of 42 runs after 6.2 overs.
