Bangladesh are on course to win the series-clinching a 2-0 against Pakistan. The final session on Day 4 was called off with rain on a day when Zakir Hasan remained unbeaten on 31* and Shadman Islam not out on 9*. Bangladesh needed 143 runs to win.

The Pakistan vs Bangladesh Test have witnessed some really unexpected moments. Pakistan after took only a slender 12-run lead in the first innings and got all out for 172 runs in their second innings. Bangladesh were chasing 185 runs when the game started out in a good way as they reached 42/0 after seven overs before rain and poor light interrupted the play.

According to Weather.com, there is 100% chance of rain on Day 5, with 83% chance of rain there right from the start of play. Conditions are supposed to get a lot better after 3:00 PM local time, though, when the percentage chances of rain drop below 10%, and there is hope for Bangladesh fans.

Pakistan started their innings with style, and with fine half-centuries by Saim Ayub 58, Shan Masood 57, and Salman Ali Agha 54, they reached a total of 274 in 85.1 overs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz single-handedly stole a good day for Bangladesh with five wickets. In response, Bangladesh mustered 262 in 78.4 overs, courtesy a fighting 138 off 228 balls from Liton Das and an important 78 off 124 balls by Mehidy Hasan himself.

For Pakistan, Khurram Shahzad snared six wickets. In the second innings, Pakistan were thrashed. Only  Salman Ali Agha remained unbeaten on 47* off 71 deliveries. For Bangladesh, Hasan Mahmud and Nahid Rana dominated with five and four wickets respectively.
