Ravichandran Ashwin Six-Wickets Away From Achieving This Elusive Milestone Ahead Of IND vs AUS 1st Test

Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin will once again be among the key players to watch out in the IND vs AUS 2024-25 Test series.

Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin will once again be the key for the India national cricket team during the India’s tour of Australia 2024-25. The Indian team is all set to play the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 series at the Optus Stadium in Perth from November 22. Ashwin has a brilliant cricketing mind and has a decent sense of cricket. The latter watches the batter’s movement really well through he can make various other strategies to dismiss the batter. Ashwin is currently the second highest wicket taker in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and is just only behind Nathan Lyon.

Apart from breaching the record of leading wicket-taker in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Ravichandran Ashwin is just six-wickets behind to touch the 200-wicket mark in the history of the World Test Championship. Ashwin is currently the top wicket taker in the history of WTC with 194 scalps and can achieve this elite feat during the IND vs AUS 1st Test 2024-25 which is set to be played at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
