Afghanistan registered a 72-run win over Zimbabwe in the second Test of the two-match series played at the Queen’s Sports Club in Bulawayo. Afghani leg spinner Rashid Khan picked up a six-wicket haul in the second and 11 wickets in the whole, to showcase match-winning performance. This was Rashid’s third ten-wicket haul in six Tests. This was the first time Rashid Khan was playing Test cricket after 2021 against Zimbabwe itself. Rashid picked up more than ten wickets in that match as well and his current ten-fer made him achieve an elite record. Rashid Khan became the first bowler after South Africa’s Dale Steyn to pick two consecutive ten-wicket hauls in Tests. Steyn achieved the milestone back in 2007.
