Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen rejects the prediction that PSL 10 will represent the best edition of the Pakistan Super League. In his perspective stadium conditions show improvement but the tournament framework maintains its original structure which makes the assessment of bigger and better performance unrealistic. His statements emerged prior to the PSL start date of April 11 that will run through May 18. PSL 10 spans three dozen days while its six participating teams play matches in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. The final match will be held at Gaddafi Stadium when the tournament concludes on May 18.
Ali Tareen Criticizes “Empty Claims” Of PSL 10 Being The Best Edition Yet
Through his recent podcast Ali Tareen questioned the validity of claims that Pakistan Super League 10 would be “bigger and better.” According to him meaningful changes must take place before such declarations hold any merit.
“How is PSL 10 bigger and better? Someone explain to me — when we say these hollow words that this is going to be the best PSL, what does that even mean? How will it be the best PSL? It’s the same teams.” Ali Tareen said.
“We’ve had nail-biting finishes every year — seven close matches annually, even last year’s final went to the last ball. So what’s different? Same four stadiums, same stadium experience. Yes, the stadiums are better this year, but is that alone enough to make it the best and biggest PSL ever? No. I’m fed up with these empty claims.” he added.

Ali Tareen Slams PCB For Lack Of Innovation In PSL 10
Ali Tareen requested to know specific improvements that would strengthen the league while doubting the unique characteristics of this upcoming season. The Pakistani brand famous for its cricket league did not receive innovative developments according to him.
“I am tired of these promises from the PCB and management about making this the biggest season. What exactly are we doing differently to make it the best? Someone explain.”
“They claim it will be bigger while repeating the same things as last year. How? I genuinely want to know. Is there a plan? Are we doing anything new to elevate it? If so, great. But it’s disappointing to see our successful brand being neglected.” he said.
