New Delhi: French forward Kylian Mbappe was once again linked with La Liga club Real Madrid this summer. With his transfer rumor around the corner, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) PSG have got Marcus Rashford on a two-man shortlist of players they want to replace Kylian Mbappe, according to reports.
PSG eye for Rashford
The Manchester United forward has baffled the French side on more than one occasion, twice scoring the winning goal at the Parc des Princes. The English striker has cracked the 30 goals barrier for the first time and would be a perfect pick to fill the void left by Mbappe.
PSG would spend any amount of money on Rashford as he has yet to sign a new deal with Old Trafford.
It’s Rashford vs Muani for PSG
Everything boils down to two players, Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani (24) and Marcus Rashford (25 / Man United). Kolo Muani, born in the same Parisian suburb as Mbappe, has been observed live by PSG scouts for half a year. Since Bayern want to get Harry Kane (29) from Tottenham and Real is out as a competitor, the PSG chances have increased.
If Paris gets serious and puts more than 100 million euros on the table, Frankfurt would have to agree for economic reasons. The top striker, who stands out at SGE for his character, modesty and willingness to work, would fit perfectly into the new PSG booty scheme.
From now on, the club wants fewer world stars like Lionel Messi (36/ Inter Miami) or Sergio Ramos (37), both of whom are leaving the club, but more young, top players who can develop and who can also form a functioning team with a lot of team spirit.
