Haryana Steelers and U Mumba were also interested in snapping the former Bengaluru Bulls star, but the Thalaivas fought to the end to sign one of the leading raiders in PKL history.

Sehrawat joins his latest team with a career record of 986 raid points, 49 Super 10s, and 29 Super Raids in 104 matches. Mr 360 of Kabaddi is regarded as the deadliest offensive player in the world right now. The high-flyer is one of those very few players out there in the PKL circuit who are capable enough to turn any game in their favor under any circumstances.

3) Fazel Atracheli – INR 1.38 crore

Former U Mumba captain Fazel Atracheli is known for his ability to hold down attackers on the mat. The Iranian star defender was the subject to an intense bidding war between Telugu Titans and Dabang Delhi K.C., but in the end, Puneri Paltan swooped in and got his signature for INR 1.38 crore.

Fazel will start PKL season 9 as the most expensive defender and the costliest overseas talent in Pro Kabaddi history.

The Asian Games gold medalist and captain of the Iranian National Team is said to be the greatest foreigner to play in the Pro Kabaddi League. Fazel is about to become the highest tackle points scoring defender as Manjeet Chhillar is already retired from his playing career and the Iranian is just 23 points away from his tally.

He is the only player in the eight-season long history of PKL to claim the ‘Orange Band’ twice for scoring the most tackle points in a season (Season 4 & 6).
